Here we work more in-depth with the processes involving the base movements in loosening exercise no. 2 - i.e. - moving up & down from the Tai Chi standing post position - without the complication of the arm movements. Following the structural focus of exercise 2 base a exercise, what seems like a simple rising and falling movement is broken down into various parts of the base relaxing in continuity and we also become conscious of where to direct our "mind".

This exercise is great if you don't want any turning of the torso nor any transference of weight. Particularly good for the knees, the hips, the lower back, grounding, alignment & relaxation in a comfortable stance.
