T'ai Chi Syllabus Level 1: Book Two (142 pages in length) , downloadable pdf file format
From the accomplished teacher and practitioner Glenn Blythe, this is part two of his comprehensive T'ai Chi Syllabus. As with part 1 there is no fat or filler in this book. There is only very useful knowledge interpreted in an original, insightful & detailed way. Glenn defines & illustrates the important concepts of "emptiness", & "double weightedness". The importance of the "Parry & Strike" legwork, Master Huang's "Second Loosening Exercise", discusses Medical Assessments of T'ai Chi and continues with his comprehensive out line of the Short Form from Lift Hands to the end of the first set.
As with the first book, It is a very useful resource to have, not only because it is very practical and an excellent reference for those doing the short form but also because it is originally insightful. Glenn Bligh understands and can convey the "subtleties" of this deep art.
