"I was at your course at the Helensvale Library on Monday. I have suffered from neck pain for a long time and most types of exercise seem to aggravate the problem making my neck muscles very tight. Even though we didn't do a full Tai Chi lesson I found that the pain in my neck was considerably better this morning."
This wasn't the first participant who had reported a reduction in pain and in time hope to do more research as to whether such a beneficial connection between pain and Tai Chi exists. But it is encouraging.
